Las Vegas Locos Unveil New Look Team Logo

The Las Vegas Locos of the United Football league today unveiled a new-look logo ahead of the 2010 season. The UFL reigning-champion Locos will again play four home games at Sam Boyd Stadium in 2010 and the team will also live in Las Vegas from the time of their August training camp onwards.

The new logo features a primary color change from blue to red and also incorporates elements of the iconic Las Vegas sign that welcomes visitors to the city.

“As we are becoming a truly local team with our players, coaches and staff living in the area, so too is our logo embracing even more of a Las Vega feel,” said Locos head coach Jim Fassel. “I like the new-look logo and I’m sure our fans will too.”

The Locos open the 2010 UFL season at home to the Florida Tuskers in a repeat of the 2009 Championship Game. The Locos return to Las Vegas on Friday, October 8, 2010 when the Omaha Nighthawks visit. The Hartford Colonials come to Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday, October 23, 2010 followed by the Sacramento Mountain Lions on Saturday, November 6, 2010.
