“The Vegas Vikings often appear at community events with our Viking ship and a band of Vikings, which we want to grow into a larger, more imposing force,” said Erik Pappa, president of the lodge. “Anyone wanting to learn how to fight and dress like a Viking while having fun should join us.”

Advance registration is not required. Attendees should wear appropriate footwear and long pants and long sleeves. The training event will be held at the southwest area of Lorenzi Park, on the southeast side of the lake, just east of the footbridge that stretches across the lake.
