MGM Resorts International Brings Spokane Hoopfest to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds For Third-Annual Las Vegas 3on3 October 27 – 28
MGM Resorts International is partnering for the third year with Spokane Hoopfest, the “Best Basketball Weekend on Earth,” to bring Las Vegas 3on3 to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds October 27 – 28, giving players of all heights and abilities the chance to become Champion.
The event returns to Las Vegas and will once again present “Hoopfesters” the incredible opportunity to play basketball on the famed Las Vegas Strip.

Registration will open Friday and run through Sunday, Oct. 14. Discounted pricing is available for teams before Friday, June 29 via Groupon.com.
As the world’s largest 3on3 basketball tournament, Hoopfest has hosted nearly 24,000 players on 6,000 teams, 3,000 volunteers and 225,000 fans on more than 420 courts spanning 45 city blocks in Spokane, Washington for more than 29 years.
There is a spot in a bracket for interested players that are of middle school age and up. Teams will be bracketed according to height, gender, age and competition level so everyone can find their best fit – Elite Divisions ($200: male open; male 6’ and under; female open); Standard Divisions ($160: adult male; adult female); High School and Middle School ($140: male, female and co-ed entering 6th grade as of September 2018). Admission is complimentary for fans who wish to watch their favorite teams throughout the weekend.
Las Vegas Festival Grounds is a multipurpose outdoor venue on the southwest corner of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Blvd. on the famed Las Vegas Strip. Spanning 35 acres and accommodating up to 85,000 fans, the site boasts a permanent stage, 400 permanent restrooms and a 15-acre dedicated transportation area. The venue provides a great fan experience during all events with turf throughout the grounds, trees providing shade for fans as well as food and beverage outlets. Past events include Rock in Rio and ACM Party for a Cause Festival.
