NASCAR Stock Car Racing April 2 at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned 3/8-mile asphalt short track, will feature Whelen All-American Series and U.S. Legend Cars Series racing on Saturday night as part of NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals weekend at LVMS.

The Spears SRL Southwest Tour will kick off its 2011 season with a 111-lap feature. The evening’s action will include NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Chargers, NASCAR Bombers, USLCI Legend Cars, Roadsters and Bandoleros. The evening will be capped by a fireworks display.

With one race in the record books, Bullring points leaders include: Cole Cabrera (NASCAR Super Late Model), Vinny Raucci (NASCAR Chargers), Pete Meyer (NASCAR Bombers), Kyle Weatherman (Legend Cars – Pro), Jeffrey King (Legend Cars – Master), Alex Hickman (Legend Cars Semi-Pro), Travis Boyle (Roadsters), Austin Morris (Bandolero Outlaws) and Caden Carlin (Bandolero Bandits).

The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu: $1 hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola soft drinks and $1 beer.

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m.

10:30 a.m. – SRL credentials, pit parking open.
1 p.m. – Credential sales, pit parking open.
1:30 p.m. – Tech inspection begins.
2 p.m. – SRL practice.
2:30 p.m. – Bandolero practice.
2:35 p.m. – Roadster practice.
2:40 p.m. – Legend Cars practice.
2:45 p.m. – Bomber practice.
2:50 p.m. – Charger practice.
2:55 p.m. – Super Late Model practice.
3 p.m. – SRL practice.
3:30 p.m. – Bandolero practice.
3:40 p.m. – Roadster practice.
3:50 p.m. – Legend Cars practice.
4 p.m. – Bomber practice.
4:10 p.m. – Charger practice.
4:20 p.m. – Super Late Model practice.
4:35 p.m. – Drivers’ meeting.
5 p.m. – Spectator gates open.

5:05 p.m. Bandolero group qualifying (3 laps). Legend Cars group qualifying (3 laps). Super Late Model group qualifying (3 laps).

5:30 p.m. – SRL Southwest Tour qualifying.

6 p.m. Bomber heat races (8 laps). Charger heat races (8 laps). Roadster feature (12 laps, 12-min. time limit). Bandolero Outlaws feature (12 laps, 12-min. time limit). Legend Cars Semi-pro/Young Lions feature (20 laps, 20-min. time limit).

7 p.m. National anthem, Jr. Fan of the Week drawing. Bandolero Bandits feature (12 laps, 12-min. time limit). Bomber feature (20 laps, 20-min. time limit). Charger feature (30 laps, 25-min. time limit). Legend Cars feature (20 laps, 20-min. time limit). Super Late Model feature (40 laps, 40-min. time limit).

9:25 p.m. – Spears SRL Southwest Tour feature: Spears Manufacturing 111 (111 laps). Fireworks to follow SRL feature.
