Ninth Annual Las Vegas Bracket Nationals at The Strip at LVMS Nov. 24-28

Only a few days remain for racers to take advantage of a savings of $100 by entering the Nov. 24-28 Las Vegas Bracket Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Advance-entry prices apply for anyone entering the event prior to Friday, Nov. 19. After Nov. 20, all racer entry fees increase by $100. Entry forms must be received at The Strip at LVMS’s office by 5 p.m. on Nov.19. to be eligible for the advance-entry discount.

All drag racers who pre-register to the Thanksgiving Weekend event also will receive a free ticket to the Friday, Nov. 26 opening night of the inaugural Sprint Car Super Nationals at the Dirt Track at LVMS. The event is the season championship race for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters.

Jeff Strunk’s Land Shark Race Cars will post a $500 cash bonus to the overall Super Pro points champion. Drivers will earn points for each round won over the four days of racing. The racer with the highest score will win $500 cash, a championship trophy and a champion’s jacket from Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Drivers who pre-register for entry into the event by the November 19, 2010 deadline will save $100 off of the overall weekend entry. Classes to be contested in 2010 include Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Motorcycle. The event will also feature the popular Ultimate Gambler event on Saturday, November 27 as well as the Geezer Gambler for drivers 55 and over on Wednesday, November 24.

All drag racers who pre-register to the event will also receive a free ticket to the Friday, November 26 opening night of the first annual Sprint Car Super Nationals, the season championship event for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters.

Saturday’s program features the famous Ultimate Gambler race. Entry fee is $1,000 per car and the purse is winner-take all with a 100% payback.

Tuesday, Nov. 23
10 a.m.-6 p.m. – Gates open for all pre-registered participants.
2-6 p.m. – Tech inspection for pre-registered participants.

Wednesday, Nov. 24
8 a.m.-6 p.m. – Gates open for all participants; gate entries accepted.
9 a.m.-5 p.m. – Tech inspection.
10 a.m.-5 p.m. – Time trials (run in sessions by class – 2 runs per car/motorcycle).
5 p.m. – Geezer Gambler; Wednesday Bonus Race (TBA).

Thursday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Nov. 28
6 a.m. – Gates open.
7 a.m. – Cars called to the lanes.

7:15 a.m. Sportsman Run-for-the-Money. Pro Run-for-the-Money. Super Pro Run-for-the-Money. First round of Sportsman eliminations.
First round of Pro eliminations.
First round of Super Pro eliminations.
First round of Motorcycle eliminations. Continue eliminations with buybacks in first and second round (time permitting).
