Over 130 Award-Winning Vehicles Cruise into the Entertainment Capital of the World This Weekend for the Inaugural Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance
As 2019 comes to a close, one inaugural auto show is looking to round out the year in true Las Vegas style. The Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance will take place from Friday, Oct. 25 through Monday, Oct. 28, and will be the most luxurious automotive exhibition in Las Vegas to date with four consecutive days of captivating, lavish events (Pictured: Phantom Corsair).

Opening Night Gala: Friday, Oct. 25 – 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Opening Night Gala on Friday, Oct. 25, at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center at Cleveland Clinic will feature exciting entertainment and Michelin-rated cuisine presented by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. $50 of every ticket sold at the gala will benefit the TechForce Foundation. TechForce is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with the mission of championing students to and through their education and into careers as professional technicians. During the ceremony, three deserving innovators in the automotive industry will also be awarded the first-ever Helene Awards for outstanding achievement in the design, development and future of the automobile.

Concours d’Elegance Car Show & Exhibition: Saturday, Oct. 26 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 130 vehicles from around the world will be on display on the 18th hole at DragonRidge Country Club at MacDonald Highlands. The event consists of more than 20 judged, non-judged and contemporary classes. On loan from the National Automobile Museum, Reno, this year’s feature marque car will be the alluring Phantom Corsair. Created in 1938, this dream car will be on display in Las Vegas for the first time in its existence. The award ceremony will commence at 2 p.m. with a performance by the Vegas Golden Knight’s National Anthem Singer, Carnell Johnson. In addition to the vehicles, Richard McDonald, a contemporary figurative artist best known for his work with Cirque du Soleil, will have 18 sculptures on display across the 18th hole.

Tour d’Elegance, Sunday, Oct. 27 – 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Watch an amazing spectacle on Sunday morning as the Concours cruise down the Las Vegas Strip. Patrons can come out and witness these exquisite works of art drive down the infamous Las Vegas Blvd as police escorts usher the parade of vehicles. The parade will begin across from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and finish at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Concours-DragonRidge Fun Day of Golf: Monday, Oct. 28 – 7 a.m.

The four-day event concludes with a fun and exciting day of golf, food, drink and camaraderie. The shotgun-style golf tournament will honor members of the DragonRidge Golf Club, contributors to the Art Center, event sponsors, exhibitors and judges. The tournament will take place at the DragonRidge Country Club at MacDonald Highlands, and a portion of the proceeds will be given to the LVCE/ArtCenter Scholarship Fund.
