Tickets to the 2016 Red Bull Air Race World Championship’s finale in Las Vegas, Nevada are now on sale through www.redbullairrace.com

Returning to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Oct. 15-16, the event is one of only two stops in the U.S. as part of the ultimate motorsports series in the sky. A wide range of tickets, from general admission to VIP hospitality, is available with prices starting at $19.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best race pilots in a pure motorsport competition that combines speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons 82 feet high at speeds of up to 230 mph.

The eight-race 2016 schedule kicks off with the season opener this month in the United Arab Emirates, and will also take to the skies in Austria, Hungary, Japan, the United Kingdom and Germany before heading to the Untied States for a historic debut in Indianapolis followed by the season finale in Las Vegas.

The complete field of 14 pilots competing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway includes two Americans: Kirby Chambliss, who won the world title in 2004 and 2006, and Michael Goulian. The rest of the pilots include: 2014 world champion Nigel Lamb (UK) 2008 champion Hannes Arch (AUT), Matt Hall (AUS), Nicolas Ivanoff (FRA), Matthias Dolderer (GER), Yoshi Muroya (JPN), Pete McLeod (CAN), Martin Sonka (CZE), François Le Vot (FRA), Juan Velarde (ESP) and newcomers Petr Kopfstein (CZE) and Peter Podlunšek (SI).

Tickets for the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Las Vegas are on sale now through www.redbullairrace.com and in person at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway box office. Tickets are available with prices starting at $19 for single day admittance on Saturday and $39 for the full 2-day weekend of high-adrenaline racing. Discounts for active military service members are offered.

Includes: Open seating location on front stretch (no assigned seats) with excellent speedway views. Hangar walk (hangar area access at set times) is free with purchase of full weekend package, or can be purchased for an additional $10 online or $15 at the venue on the day of the event. Children under 12 enter for free (max two children per adult).
