Schatz Wins Sixth Las Vegas World of Outlaws Sprint Car Feature

Donny Schatz of Fargo, N. Dakota, took the lead from Sammy Swindell on lap 15 and went on to score his sixth Las Vegas Motor Speedway World of Outlaws Sprint Car feature tonight. Schatz’s 30-lap victory was worth $10,000. Swindell settled for second place and Craig Dollansky was third.

World of Outlaws heats were won by Joey Saldana, Kerry Marsden and Dollansky. Dollansky also won the six-lap WoO Dash. Jac Haudenschild won the WoO B-Feature.

Jeff Czoka of Phoenix, Ariz., made the long tow to the Dirt Track at LVMS and came away with the king-sized trophy and the winner’s check after snaring the 12-lap Bomber feature. Dale Walters was second and Billy Bob Grasser finished third. Harold Sherard won the Bomber heat.
