Life Time Athletic Summerlin and Green Valley are encouraging members to get their game on this summer in the company’s new 60-Day Challenge, open for registration now through June 17.
The fitness challenge encourages participants to uncover their best summer body, while competing to win up to $10,000 and a trip to Hawaii! Registration is available now at www.LifeTime60Day.com.
Life Time Group Fitness
The 60-Day Challenge kicks off Saturday, June 4 through Monday, June 6 with a “Weigh-In Weekend,” where participants receive a personal consultation with a Life Time certified personal trainer, select their challenge category, and complete their first weekly weigh-in for the program.
Once signed up, for the next 60 days, participants will work with Life Time personal trainers and nutrition coaches to achieve their “Weight Loss” or “Transformation” goals and receive complimentary access to weekly “Try-It Tuesday” events. These events, designed to help participants achieve personal success, include grocery store tours, fitness classes, and a variety of nutrition, exercise and technology seminars.
The 60-Day Challenge features two categories for adult participants: the Weight Loss category and the Transformation category. The Weight Loss category is judged on the largest percent of body weight lost. The Transformation category is designed for those hoping to gain lean muscle mass and definition. Judging in this category is based on total transformation in body composition, including body fat percentage, as well as before and after photos and an essay describing the personal transformation experience.
Two national Weight Loss winners (one male, one female) and two national Transformation winners will each receive $10,000 in cash. The top 16 finalists of each club will receive a $1,000 cash prize. Additionally, of the 16 finalists, one male and one female participant who received the most public votes between either categories will receive a seven-night stay at the luxury four-diamond oceanfront resort, the Fairmont Orchid, in Hawaii.
