The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway opens 2012 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Saturday Night

The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s 3/8-mile asphalt short track, will open its 2012 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season Saturday night. Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m.

Local classes in competition on opening night will include: NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Bombers, USAC Midgets, USLCI Legend Cars and USLCI Bandoleros. The evening of family entertainment includes a free, on-track driver autograph session at 5:50 p.m. and a 50-lap NASCAR Super Late Model grand finale.

Defending Bullring NASCAR champions include: Scott Gafforini (NASCAR Super Late Models), James Wingard (NASCAR Super Stocks, formerly known as Chargers) and Pete Meyer (NASCAR Bombers).

Fans may save $2 by purchasing tickets in advance at the LVMS ticket office. Advance-sale tickets are $10 for adults ($12 on Saturday). The Bullring’s concession stand features a family friendly dollar menu, including $1 hot dogs and $1 Coca-Cola products.
This weekend at the Bullring also includes practice and a USLCI points race on Friday and the first race of the USLCI Sunday Shootout Series race on Sunday afternoon.
