The Ride Premium Indoor Cycling Holds “Vegas Strong Ride” to Benefit Friends of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation

plans to join his regular classmates and community members at The Ride Premium Indoor Cycling during its “Vegas Strong Ride” this Sunday, Oct. 8. The Ride will hold three classes Sunday to benefit Friends of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation

All classes on Sunday, Oct. 8 are free with a donation. Community members and riders can also visit The Ride front desk to make a donation at any time. 100% of all donations will go to Friends of LVMPD Foundation.

Sheriff Joseph Lombardo plans to join The Ride team including Patrick Leahy (8:15 a.m.), Mark Cornelsen (9:30 a.m.) and Jennifer Choi (10:45 a.m.).

The Friends of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation was established in 1999 as the non-profit arm for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support LVMPD programs that make southern Nevada a safer place to live, work and visit. Donations are directed to initiatives including updated equipment for the Department, advanced officer training, support for the families of fallen officers, higher education scholarships for children of officers and Every 15 Minutes, a program which aims to reduce traffic fatalities by educating new teen drivers on the safest ways to travel the roads.
