 The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame Returns to Orleans Arena June 14
The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame returns to the Orleans Arena on Friday, June 14, inducting the Class of 2019 that includes sports journalist Steve Carp (Pictured); former Arena Football League athlete Hunkie Cooper; baseball scout Manny Guerra; Las Vegas Baseball Academy mentor and former professional baseball player Mike Martin; General Manager of a premier equestrian facility Steve Stallworth; and Las Vegas’ first major-league, professional hockey team.

Including this induction class, the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame now consists of 110 members.

The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization committed to recognizing the outstanding achievements by southern Nevada athletes, both in the world of sports and the local community.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to organizations committed to the support and enhancement of southern Nevada youth through active participation in programs designed to promote leadership, values and character through sports.
