Tuff-N-Uff Features Championship MMA, Live Music, Free Beer at Thanksgiving Eve "Feasti-Brawl" Nov. 21
While Thanksgiving Day may be about feasts and football, Thanksgiving Eve in Las Vegas will be dominated by fists and a Tuff-N-Uff “Feasti-Brawl” (Pictured: fighter Rachael Cummins).

“Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA” returns to Sin City’s South Point Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 21, for a special pre-Thanksgiving event that features an incredible lineup of four title fights, live music, free beer sampling and a collection of Las Vegas’ best gourmet food trucks for the promotion’s one-of-a-kind holiday “Feasti-Brawl.”

“We’ve had several great events this year at South Point Arena, but this should be a special night,” Tuff-N-Uff president Barry Meyer said. “We’ve got four championship fights booked, including a couple of grudge matches that are sure to be high-energy contests. Add in the city’s best food trucks, live music and free beer sampling, and this night will be a perfect way to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday.”

With the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday in mind, “Tuff-N-Uff” is offering $5 off the price of admission to anyone bringing in a canned good for Las Vegas’ Three Square Food Bank, a non-profit agency that provides bakery, produce, dairy, non-perishable products and ready-to-eat meals to non-profit and faith-based organizations who serve those in need in the Las Vegas community.

The “Feasti-Brawl” pre-party, which includes food, drinks and live music, starts at 5 p.m. The night’s first fight is at 7 p.m.

The “Tuff-N-Uff: Festi-Brawl” main event sees undefeated three-time Tuff-N-Uff veteran Jeff “The Bullet” Roman (4-0) and one-time Strikeforce fighters Joel Champion (3-1) compete for the vacant Tuff-N-Uff welterweight title. One Kick Nick product Roman has yet to fight past the first minute in any of his four amateur fights, and his past two victories have taken just 23 total seconds of cage time. Meanwhile, Arizona’s Champion will likely be looking to drag his opponent into deep waters after fighting to the final bell in three of his four career bouts.

In the night’s co-feature, women’s 125-pound champion Cortney Casey (5-1) puts her belt on the line in a rematch against an always-tough Rachael Cummins (2-3). Casey earned the Tuff-N-Uff title in September with a submission win over Cummins via armbar. However, the Reign Training Center fighter insists she never tapped, and Arizona’s Casey has offered to give her a rematch.

In additional championship action, House of RYU’s Dylan Jahrling (3-0) meets Fight Capital’s Mikey “Pretty Boy” Perez (5-3) in the cross-town finals of Tuff-N-Uff’s four-man middleweight tournament, and Wand Fight Team’s Chris Gomez (3-3) takes on top prospect Fard “The Messenger” Muhammad (4-0), whose undefeated record includes three consecutive first-round TKO stoppages, in a battle for Tuff-N-Uff’s vacant featherweight title.

Rounding out the featured fights is a 125-female grudge match between Stephanie Gonzalez (6-1) and Jillian “Justice” Lybarger (4-5). The pair was expected to meet twice before in a 115-pound contest, but Lybarger missed weight each time. Angered at the missed opportunities, Gonzalez is now moving up to 125 pounds to ensure she has a chance to dish out her own brand of justice.

In addition to the night’s headlining contests, a full lineup of aspiring amateur fighters from some of the world’s top academies ? including 10tth Planet, Cobra Kai, Drysdale Jiu-Jitsu, House of RYU, Ruthless Fight Team, Striking Unlimited, Throwdown, Wand Fight Team and Xtreme Couture ? will compete att Tuff-N-Uff’s Nov. 21 “Feasti-brawl.”

Tickets for the event, which start at just $25, are available by calling the South Point Arena Box Office at (702) 796-7111 or online at SouthPointArena.com.
