UFC & WEC World Lightweight Champion, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis hosted at LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Saturday, December 6.

Directly following his masterful second-round submission win over Gilbert Melendez last night at UFC 181 in Las Vegas, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis proudly wore his UFC Lightweight Championship belt over his shoulder as he hosted LIGHT’s Fight Night After Party.

Pettis–who first earned the UFC lightweight title in August 2013 jolting him to fame and earning him the honor of becoming the first MMA fighter to appear on a Wheaties box–celebrated his win amongst the cheers and congratulatory applause from LIGHT’s club-goers while they danced to an energetic set by DJ Tony Arzadon.
During the night, LIGHT ‘s Cirque du Soleil acrobats and performers provided entertainment above the dance floor for experience only seen at LIGHT Las Vegas.
