United Football League to Unveil 2010 Team Uniforms at Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas

The United Football League will unveil its new team uniforms for the 2010 season at a spectacular event at the Grand Hall of the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 28 from 1pm – 2pm.

Two players from each of the league’s five teams will join UFL Commissioner MICHAEL HUYGHUE as guests of the Las Vegas Locos as they invite football fans, the general public and the media to take an exclusive look at the new uniforms.

Quarterback DAUNTE CULPEPPER and 2009 league-leading running back CORY ROSS of the Sacramento Mountain Lions will be joined by running back AHMAN GREEN and linebacker GARY STILLS of the Omaha Nighthawks. Running back DOMINIC RHODES and wide receiver CHAS GESSNER will represent the Florida Tuskers. The new uniforms of the hometown Las Vegas Locos will be presented by quarterback TIM RATTAY and tight end ADAM BERGEN. Wearing the colors of the Hartford Colonials will be running back ANDRE DIXON and linebacker ASAPH SCHWAPP.

“The uniforms are the teams’ identity and I am sure the fans of the UFL will be as excited to wear replica jerseys as our players are at the prospect of wearing their game jerseys for the first time,” said UFL Commissioner Huyghue. “We are pleased to be returning to Las Vegas – the home of our Premiere Season champions the Locos – to parade the uniforms to our fans.”

The players will be introduced while wearing the new UFL team uniforms on the runway and stage in the Grand Hall of the Fashion Show Mall located at 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The production will be broadcast outside to visitors on the famous Las Vegas strip via large video screens.

The uniform unveiling will also include a guest appearance by BETTY BOOP, the world-famous cartoon character with more curves than a backward pass, who is one of the most popular and successful licensed characters in entertainment history.

In the process of integrating the Locos within the Las Vegas business community, the United Football League formed a partnership with SFC USA LLC, a 40-year-old custom apparel manufacturer based locally in Las Vegas. As the official replica jersey licensee of the United Football League, SFC will provide all uniforms and jersey replica apparel for the uniform unveiling. The United Football League will also unveil the uniforms that will be worn by game officials during the 2010 season.

The 10 players – among them a UFL Championship winner, Super Bowl winners, NFL Pro Bowlers and former stars of college football – will hold an autograph session at 2pm following the uniform unveiling. Wednesday’s uniform unveiling will be followed by a VIP Player Reception that is also open to UFL fans and media. ‘The Pub’ at the Monte Carlo Hotel will host a Locos Happy Hour from 7pm to 9pm and fans will have an opportunity to win tickets and get autographs from the stars of the United Football League and the Las Vegas Locomotives.
