Fans were treated to a lively performance by the Spring Valley High School Drum Line as they lined the plaza for their chance to cheer on their favorite Team USA rugby stars. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., Patrick Miller, general manager for Monte Carlo, served as the pep rally host, introducing fans to special guests, Oscar Goodman, chairman of the Las Vegas Host Committee, who welcomed the tournament back to Las Vegas and toasted to a team USA victory.

Team USA Eagles and Coach Friday joined Dan Lyle, vice president of United World Sports, and Rob Cornelius, vice president of business development for United World Sports, on stage to celebrate the three-day tournament’s return to Las Vegas and a successful road to the summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Bringing the event to a close, the Spring Valley High School Drum Line played as the team posed for pictures with fans.

The USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament’s official opening ceremonies and Parade of Nations will be held on Fremont Street Experience Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. Tournament play starts at Sam Boyd Stadium on Friday, March 4 and runs through the weekend, culminating in the championship round on Sunday, March 6. Throughout the action-packed weekend, ticket holders will cheer on these Olympic players as they compete for their chance to become the HSBC World Series champion. Throughout the weekend, in addition to game play, fans will sample international food and drinks in the Beer Garden, located within the international fan festival.
