Vegas Has Come into Limelight for Everything Related to Sports
Las Vegas has eventually found its place in the sports world after having been side lined for many years, mainly owing to their reputation as the betting hub of the United States. Everyone used to fear that if Las Vegas came to the fore, it could rig results! All the struggle has paid off now as Vegas is going great guns on all professional sports’ fronts today. On the whole, the Vegas of today is a pretty big deal in terms of sports and sports events (Photo credit: Wikicommons)

Whether it is UFC, Boxing, NBA, NFL or MLB, Vegas is shining everywhere. On a side note, if you wish to back your favourite Vegas teams in the sports betting markets, an excellent way to start is by using the Bet365 £100 bet credits and try out some of the markets for free. Sports betting is about an awful lot more than just blind luck so be sure to study up on your favourite teams and players before placing even a single bet. The way betting works can be complicated too so sites and apps that give you a “free start” is a great way to get to grips with the game before you place any of your hard earned money on it.

USL – Las Vegas Lights

Las Vegans aren’t the only ones who whenever something great happens put their shirts over their heads and run through the streets! We have our own USL (United League Soccer) team, The Las Vegas Lights to join in on the fun!

Screaming spectators and smooth footwork of the players is what soccer is all about! And now Vegas gets to go to real life soccer games featuring its own players rather than watch soccer action on TV screens, in the bars. With FIFA World Cup 2018 round the corner, it’s just the right time to get into some soccer mood and start rooting for the Lights! (Oh yes! Lights don’t play the World Cup by the way, that’s a national teams’ event!)

Triple-A Baseball – Las Vegas 51s

Las Vegas and baseball go a long way back. Las Vegas 51s have been around for over three decades since 1983, except for the fact that they used to be known as Las Vegas Stars back then. 51s who’re presently the New York Mets’ (of MLB) Triple-A affiliates, aren’t the only connection that Las Vegas has with the MLB (Major League Baseball). Vegas has had home grown studs such as the MVPs Kris Bryant and Bryce Harper who’ve brought glory to the Sin City! All in all, baseball is alive and kicking in Vegas!

Hockey – Vegas Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights are a professional ice hockey team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. This extraordinary team has sports fans going wild because they’ve earned a spot in the Stanley Cup Final in their very first season!
