Volunteers Needed for Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Sept. 30 – Oct. 6
Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is in need of volunteers for the 37th annual tournament taking place in Las Vegas from Sept. 30 – Oct. 6 at TPC Summerlin. Volunteer registration is now open online here.
Myrbetriq mirabegron will be the Official Sponsor of PGA TOUR Volunteer Appreciation at this year’s tournament.
Volunteers will perform many tasks required to conduct a successful PGA TOUR event. Volunteer opportunities during the tournament include standard bearers, caddie services, admissions, walking scorers, shotlink operators and many more. Experience in golf and knowledge of the game is not required to volunteer.

“Volunteers are key to making the annual Shriners Hospitals for Children Open a success,” remarked Patrick Lindsey, executive director of the tournament. “The dedication, hard work and passion of our volunteers helps support the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children, not only in Las Vegas but across the world.”
New and returning volunteers will receive an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party, a week-long tournament access badge, a commemorative pin and meals during shifts. Volunteers will also receive a volunteer appreciation gift, courtesy of Myrbetriq.
Each volunteer is required to purchase a volunteer uniform at $75. The volunteer uniform includes a polo style golf shirt, jacket, baseball cap or visor. This helps to defray the tournament’s costs associated with each volunteer. Individuals supporting the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children and golf fans alike are encouraged to get involved and volunteer for a cause that impacts the lives of children across the world. Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is operated as a 501(c)3 charity and every available dollar is dedicated to the mission of raising awareness and money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The 2019 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open brings the FedExCup to TPC Summerlin as the PGA TOUR returns to the Las Vegas valley for the 37th consecutive year in this weeklong charitable tournament. Defending champion, Bryson DeChambeau will be one of the many top golfers in the world that will participate in the competition and help support the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children from Oct. 2 – Oct. 6.
