Wranglers’ goaltender Travis Fullerton made 33 saves in the 4-2 victory, his ninth of the year, and third consecutive win.

Just as in Wednesday night’s win it would be the Wranglers breaking through first, as John Armstrong scored unassisted to give Las Vegas a 1-0 lead 3:18 into the period. That would be all the scoring in the opening frame as the Wranglers took a 12-8 shot margin and a 1-0 lead with them into the first intermission.

Just 5:00 into the second period Charlie Cook (3) would extend the Wranglers’ lead to 2-0 on the power-play, assisted by Matt Tassone (20) and Greg Coburn (8), his fourth straight game with an assist. Just a short four minutes later the Steelheads would respond with a goal of their own, as Brock Montgomery (8) cut the Wranglers’ lead to 2-1 with assists from Mitch Wahl (34) and Taylor Vause (4). Vause would then tie the game up 2-2, 13:20 into the frame, with his ninth of the year, assisted by William Rapuzzi (30).

For the second straight game Las Vegas would dominate the final period, as Adam Hughesman (17, 18) buried two goals in the third frame, putting the Wranglers up for good, 4-2. The first, coming just 3:54 into the period, was assisted by Eddie DelGrosso (8) and Nolan Julseth-White (9), his second straight game with a helper. The second, which put Las Vegas on top by a pair, came off feeds from Carlo Finucci (19) and Ryan Forgaard (3).

Las Vegas has now outscored Idaho 5-0 in the final period over the last two games, both of them wins.
