Just four minutes into the game, Wranglers defenseman Nolan Julseth-White scored his third goal of the season for an early 1-0 lead. Steelheads forward Bryce Reddick, who started the season with Las Vegas, responded six minutes later to tie the game 1-1 at the end of the first.

Las Vegas opened the second with a minute of power play time carrying over, and they capitalized on the opportunity with a goal from right wing Sean Wiles 46 seconds into the period. Wranglers center Eric Lampe tacked on a goal four minutes later for a 3-1 lead, but Steelheads forward David de Kastrozza was able to go top shelf on Wranglers goaltender Joe Fallon and make it a one-goal game midway through the third. With four minutes left in the game, Wranglers center Judd Blackwater went one-on-one against Idaho goaltender Tyler Beskorowany and scored, giving Las Vegas the 4-2 victory for the team’s ninth win in a row. With that, Fallon improved to a 7-0-0 record in his last seven starts.
