Twelve Wranglers players, head coach Ryan Mougenel and Wranglers front office staff and fans shaved their heads on the ice during St. Baldrick’s Night on Sunday, March 18, raising $25,029 in cash donations for the team. A special St. Patrick’s Day jersey worn by the team and auctioned off also collected another $7,548 for the organization. A total of $32,577 will be donated to St. Baldrick’s on behalf of the Wranglers. Wranglers defenseman and team captain Mike Madill led the players with $2,250 raised for his shaving alone.

This year was the team’s sixth season partnering with St. Baldrick’s to help to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancers. Last season, the Wranglers raised $13,956 for St. Baldrick’s.

The Wranglers finish the regular season this weekend with two games against the Colorado Eagles on Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, March 31, is Fan Appreciation Night, where the entire Wranglers team will be available for autographs and photos.
