Lee Canyon Launches Passholder Promise in Response to Pandemic's Impact on Las Vegas

In response to the impact of COVID-19 on the 2019/20 ski season, and to help guests feel confident in planning for next season, Lee Canyon announces its Passholder Promise.

The Passholder Promise addresses the 2019/20 season by offering credit vouchers to 2019/20 season and multi-day passholders. The voucher value is based on the type of pass product that was purchased for the 2019/20 season and can be applied online to a 2020/21 season pass or youth development program. Credit vouchers are also available for advance purchases, such as individual day tickets booked through Lee Canyon and lessons. The vouchers are valid through the 2020/21 season.

To help guests feel confident in planning for the 2020/21 season, Lee Canyon’s Passholder Promise also includes:

  • Lee Canyon’s first-ever season pass payment plan. The payment plan offers guests the ability to make four payment installments on season pass products. Initial payments for 2020/21 season passes are due on or before July 15, 2020, which is the end of early-bird pricing. This allows people to lock-in the best rate and spread payments out over time. Additional installments are made in August 15, September, and October.
  • Extension of Lee Canyon’s loyalty rate to July 15, 2020. Traditionally, Lee Canyon’s Loyalty Rate on season pass products is only available through Memorial Day.
  • Price freeze on 2020/21 season pass products, meaning pricing will remain unchanged from the lowest rate from the 2019/20 season.
  • Peace-of-Mind refund policy. These are uncertain times and early purchasers of Lee Canyon’s season pass products can do so with confidence. Lee Canyon’s Peace-of-Mind refund policy means pre-season pass purchases can be fully refunded on or before November 20, 2020. Cancellation forms must be received by Lee Canyon no later than November 20; forms can be submitted online.

“Lee Canyon’s Passholder Promise offers support to our community by minimizing financial risk in this extraordinary time,” says Dan Hooper, Lee Canyon’s general manager. “While this approach does not eliminate the uncertainty, Las Vegas faces because of COVID-19, it does allow guests to lock in our best rates, spread payments over time, and purchase with confidence.”

Additionally, 2019/20 Ride Local cardholders who renew for the 2020/21 season will receive a bonus week at the end of the upcoming ski season, which means they will receive three free weeks of skiing/riding in 2020/21.

Lee Canyon expects to be open for summer operations; timing is dependent upon directives from Governor Sisolak.
