Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club Debuts Thanksgiving Weekend In New Venue at MGM Grand
Emmy Award-winning comedian and actor Brad Garrett will move his brand of top-quality comedy and popular array of legendary comedians to a new home in MGM Grand Hotel & Casino this fall. Scheduled to open Saturday, Nov. 27 in The District at MGM Grand, the newly redesigned Brad Garrett Comedy Club will be an intimate 210-seat comedy club and lounge featuring Garrett and many of his funny friends throughout the year.
Garrett, who joins the lineup of comedians for multiple performances throughout the year, will entertain opening weekend clubgoers along with Butch Bradley and Trixx. Holiday weekend showtimes are scheduled Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. For additional show dates and times, visit mgmgrand.com.
Award-winning comedian and actor Rob Schneider will take the stage for multiple New Year’s weekend performances, including Thursday, Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Schneider will be joined by additional comedians to be announced in the near future.
“Though I will miss performing in the ‘basement’ and waking up guests who have fallen asleep on their way to self-parking, this is an opportunity I’m very grateful for and excited to embark on,” said Garrett.
Adjacent to the comedy club, a lounge featuring live music by talented pianists, jazz musicians, and horn players as well as an array of beverage options will become one of the resort’s must-visit spots. Admission to the lounge is complimentary to showgoers and property guests.

General admission tickets range from $80.95 to $105.95 when Garrett appears on stage, or $54.95 to $75.95 during non-Garrett performances, not including applicable service charges and taxes. Garrett began performing his stand-up act at Los Angeles comedy clubs and in 1984 was the first winner of the syndicated television show “Star Search.” The comedian was only 23 years old when he made his first appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson,” making him one of the youngest comedians ever to perform on the program. As Garrett’s career took off, he began headlining at national venues and opened for legendary performers including Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Julio Iglesias, Liza Minelli and Sammy Davis, Jr., among others.
Garrett soon made the jump to the world of television and film and appeared on TV shows including “Rosanne,” “Mad About You” and Seinfeld,” but is best known for the CBS hit series’ “Everybody Loves Raymond.” In the role of Ray Romano’s big brother Robert, Garrett earned Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2002, 2003 and 2005. His portrayal of Jackie Gleason in the 2001 telefilm “Gleason” earned him Emmy and Screen Actors Guild nominations.
Several of Garrett’s film credits include “The Pacifier,” “Music and Lyrics,” “Suicide Kings” and “Gloria Bell,” starring Julianne Moore. The comedian’s distinguishable voice was utilized by characters including Bloat in “Finding Nemo,” Dim in “A Bug’s Life,” Gasteau in “Ratatouille” and Hookhand in Disney’s “Tangled.” Garrett is currently filming “Cha-Cha Real Smooth” with Dakota Johnson, Cooper Raiff and Leslie Mann.
