The world of small business finance is broken, but fixable. One new startup is leveraging AI to fix it.

HUB Analytics is a brand new all-in-one platform designed from the ground up for business success.
Created by a team of experts across finance, technology and business operations, HUB is driven by a “passion for financial clarity.”
The co-founder of HUB Analytics is Robert Rodrigues, a local Las Vegas resident.
He explained how his company first got the idea for HUB Analytics – and how it used key advances in AI models to create a platform to allow businesses of any size to thrive.
National Recognized Experience
A strongly entrepreneurial spirit, Rodrigues spent years working across multiple sectors, including internet marketing and sales. In 2012, he founded Power Digital Marketing, a full-service and tech-enabled digital marketing agency. In May 2020, Rodrigues joined TGG Accounting, a San Diego-based accounting firm, as its chief operating officer.
It was at TGG Accounting that the idea behind HUB Analytics was born. According to Rodrigues, HUB was created as both a solution to the disconnect between business owners and accountants, as well as a way to help the team power their own projects.
“We originally developed HUB Analytics to power some of our entrepreneurial endeavors, including our own accounting firm,” Rodrigues said. “So, we literally built this from the ground up for small businesses and entrepreneurs.”
With their experience as a foundation, Rodrigues added that the “distressing frequency” of small businesses succumbing into failure drove the team to develop the platform.
But what does HUB Analytics do, and how does it differ from other products on the market?
A Revolutionary Marriage
HUB Analytics is not your bread-and-butter accounting or bookkeeping software. Instead, it’s a platform that provides all of the capabilities of an accounting department and combines them with the expertise of a chief financial officer.
“Our team has decades of experience in finance and technology, and through all of that time, one thing was made incredibly clear: You can’t make good decisions on bad data,” he said. “That’s why we designed HUB to be like a CFO, accounting manager and controller in your pocket.”
To that end, HUB Analytics provides solutions to three different pillars of running a business: data diagnostics, reporting, and strategic financial insights.
- HUB Analytics’ data diagnostic tool uses 150 points and metrics to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
- From there, businesses can obtain advanced reporting with custom KPIs and easy-to-understand insights, recommendations, and goals
- Finally, HUB Analytics can provide AI-generated financial strategies and recommendations that provide actionable insights on costs, profitability and more
“The platform won’t just show you what happened with your business — it’ll explain why it happened and provide expert insights on what you should do about it,” Rodrigues said.
Of course, there are plenty of other quality-of-life features baked into the platform. It sports advanced security measures to keep all data safe, and integration with QuickBooks makes for easy data management for businesses of basically any size.
Financial Clarity, Delivered
According to Rodrigues, HUB Analytics was born into the world when the founders realized that finance and accounting for small- and medium-sized businesses was broken. HUB Analytics was created to be an antidote to that.
Rodrigues said he knows from first-hand entrepreneurial experience how unclear and murky business finances can be. HUB Analytics can serve as a beacon of financial clarity, especially for companies that are strapped for resources.
“To run a business, you need sound data, intuitive reporting and tracking, and actionable financial insights,” Rodrigues said. “We know how to get all three: an accounting department. Of course, many businesses don’t have the resources to hire an accounting department.”
That’s where HUB Analytics comes in. The platform is meant to do away with the fuzziness and anxiety that can come from unclear decisions.
“HUB is your accounting manager, it’s your controller, it’s your CFO,” Rodrigues said. “This platform combines all of the capabilities of an accounting department in an easy-to-use and intuitive way.”
Who Is HUB For?
HUB Analytics is built from the ground up for businesses of all sizes, including accounting firms that want to offload bookkeeping work to focus on strategic consulting.
However, according to Rodrigues, he hopes that HUB stands as a steadfast ally to small businesses as they overcome obstacles and face the formidable challenges of entrepreneurship.
“I know first-hand how difficult it can be to run a business,” Rodrigues said. “You have so many different things to worry about as a business owner. I hope HUB Analytics can help lessen the burden on entrepreneurs and owners everywhere, and free them up to focus on making their business a success.”
