Las Vegas has long been known to be an adult playground for people across the world, but there are signs that the city is slowly becoming more family friendly.
Recent statistics from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority notes that around 16% of tourists in Las Vegas have someone younger than 21 in their group. That works out to be three times the number of groups with younger-than-21 people before the pandemic, according to CNN.
The report indicates that there is a growing number of immersive and technology-infused experiences for visitors to Las Vegas to enjoy, and many of them are family friendly. Two recent examples include a mind-bending show called Particle Ink, while another is Teatime in Wonderland, an immersive tea experience inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.”
Other Las Vegas family friendly attractions include AREA15, an entertainment district that’s open to all ages and that features attractions, rides, dining, and more. Electric Playhouse, where Teatime in Wonderland is located, also features rooms where entire families can play real-life “video games” by using their bodies as controllers.
Of course, there are also plenty of classic family activities in Las Vegas, too. That includes the Big Apple Coaster at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, the rides on the Observation Tower at the Strat, and the classic High Roller observation wheel, which ranks as the tallest in the world.
