Caesars Palace is marking a major milestone on the Las Vegas Strip by taking diners on a culinary trip back to 1966. To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the legendary resort has unveiled a collection of limited-time menus and signature cocktails inspired by the flavors that were mainstream in its opening era. Available through Dec. 31, the anniversary offerings span some of the property’s most celebrated restaurants, giving guests a chance to experience nostalgic dishes reimagined by world-renowned chefs while honoring six decades of luxury hospitality.
Caesars Palace’s 60th Anniversary Celebrates Six Decades of Dining
Since opening its doors on Aug. 5, 1966, Caesars Palace has grown into one of the defining landmarks of the Las Vegas Strip. The Roman-inspired resort has welcomed generations of visitors with luxury accommodations, headline entertainment and award-winning restaurants.
To commemorate its 60th anniversary, Caesars Entertainment has introduced a resort-wide dining celebration that pays tribute to the property’s earliest culinary traditions while embracing the chefs who now shape its reputation. “Few resorts have shaped the Las Vegas experience quite like Caesars Palace,” Sean McBurney, Chief Commercial Officer and Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, said in a statement announcing the celebration.
He added that the anniversary menus recognize the culinary legacy that helped establish the resort as one of the city’s most iconic destinations. The anniversary promotion will remain available through Dec. 31, allowing visitors to sample vintage-inspired menus, commemorative cocktails and specialty desserts across multiple venues throughout the resort.
Iconic 1966 Dishes Return Across Caesars Palace Restaurants
The celebration stretches across many of Caesars Palace’s signature restaurants. Bacchanal Buffet has introduced a dedicated anniversary station serving nostalgic favorites such as Duck à l’Orange, Prime Rib, Roman-Style Porchetta, Oysters Rockefeller and Clams Casino.
Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen is offering its three-course Senate Supper featuring Oysters Rockefeller, Imperial Beef Rossini Redux and Tuxedo Mousse Cake. Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill presents its Showgirls & Smoke menu with Shrimp Louie, Prime Rib and the same signature dessert.
Other participating restaurants include Amalfi by Bobby Flay, Brasserie B Parisian Steakhouse, Stanton Social Italian, Restaurant Guy Savoy and Nobu Restaurant. Peter Luger Steak House is also marking the occasion by pricing select menu items at $66.26, a tribute to both 1966 and 2026.
Guests can also celebrate with specialty cocktails served throughout the resort. The Strawberry Wallbanger and the 60th Anniversary Old Fashioned are each priced at $19.66, continuing the anniversary theme. Dominique Ansel Las Vegas has also created a limited-edition August Cronut featuring chocolate Champagne ganache and strawberry jam decorated for the milestone celebration.
Caesars Palace’s History Helped Shape the Las Vegas Strip
The story of Caesars Palace began with entrepreneur Jay Sarno, whose vision was to create a resort inspired by the grandeur of ancient Rome. Backed by developer Stanley Mallin and financing from the Teamsters Pension Fund, construction produced what quickly became one of the most recognizable properties in Las Vegas.
The resort officially opened on Aug. 5, 1966, introducing visitors to lavish Roman architecture, luxury accommodations and an ambitious entertainment program. Over the following six decades, Caesars Palace expanded into one of the Strip’s premier destinations, adding celebrity-chef restaurants, the Colosseum showroom, luxury shopping, upscale accommodations and internationally recognized entertainment. The property’s 60th-anniversary dining campaign reflects both its history and its continued evolution as one of Las Vegas’ flagship resorts.
