Cyndi Lauper, known for her timeless hits including “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” and “Time After Time,” set it all in motion for her first-ever residency at Caesar’s Palace Colosseum on Friday, April 24. The music star smoothly cruised through her performance with her hit tracks from over the years.

However, while the evergreen artist was introducing her song, ‘Sally’s Pigeon,” to her hyped fans, someone from the audience interrupted, making unintelligible sounds. Lauper was not having it as she fired back instantly, stating, “I don’t know what the f**k you’re saying, hon.”

The 72-year-old doubled down, letting the heckler know she was not to be messed with. “But please remember where you are, OK? Because if you’re trying to shade, b***h, I’m gonna come for you,” she clapped back. Fans responded by giving her a thunderous applause, which prompted her to go on.

Lauper warned the disruptor off as she added, “I’m from Brooklyn, and if I wanna f**king talk, I will do a tap dance if I f**king want. Sorry, that of course is not part of my people skills.” The syar gracefully returned to performing, taking the audience back into the blissful rhythm of her songs.

The “True Colors” crooner is set to run her debut residency with five concerts scheduled to run until May 2. She is presently dazzling her fans with her hit songs and revered eccentric fashion. Cyndi Lauper’s Vegas residency is her latest achievement, coming in the wake of her global recognition from last year.

Back in November 2025, the singer was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. At the time, mainstream star Chappell Roan introduced her on stage, before being presented with the prestigious title. Lauper proudly accepted the honor alongside other music greats, including Outkast, Salt-N-Pepa, Joe Cocker, and White Stripes.

According to PEOPLE, Lauper’s limited residency run in Sin City is an extension of her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun farewell tour that ended in August 2025. The legendary vocalist performed across four continents, belting her evergreen sounds in 70 shows.

Rihanna also made headlines last year when a fan tried shutting her down during Mariah Carey’s Christmas show in Las Vegas. The Fenty Beauty boss joined thousands of fans to enjoy Carey’s show.
