Makers & Finders in Downtown Las Vegas Celebrates Official Grand Opening
Makers & Finders, a new urban craft coffee bar in the 18B Las Vegas Arts District, celebrated its official grand opening today with U.S. Congresswoman Dina Titus (D-Nev.), Las Vegas Councilman Bob Coffin, local dignitaries, community leaders and neighbors.
Featuring coffees from five single origins, including Latin American and Free Trade small growers, Makers & Finders also offers a full food menu of Latin comfort foods for breakfast and lunch.

To create the downtown coffee bar, owners Valeria Varela and Josh Molina, traveled to Latin America for a month, where they visited coffee farms in Minca, Colombia and Amazonian Peru. They worked with several coffee growers to find just the right coffees for their restaurant and coffee bar, fashioned after the arepas bars in New York. Both have worked in the food industry for years, including at popular resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.
Molina’s family recipes from Colombia are the foundation for the restaurant’s Latin comfort food menu, including arepas, empanadas, and other authentic Latin-inspired dishes. Customers can dine at the handcrafted wooden coffee bar that is the highlight of the casual 40-seat restaurant or enjoy their coffees and light bites outside on its street-side patio.
All coffee is brewed to order in the V60 pour over bar and La Nuova Era semi-automatic espresso machine. Makers & Finders also offers specialty lattes.
Now open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, Makers & Finders is fast becoming downtown’s newest hot spot for a coffee break as well as a go-to breakfast, brunch, lunch and mid-afternoon snack spot.
At 1120 South Main St., Las Vegas, Nev. 89104, Makers & Finders is located in the heart of the burgeoning Arts District in downtown Las Vegas.
