People from all across the country are continuing the trend of moving to Las Vegas. A new report sheds light on where they’re coming from.
U-Haul recently released a report on migration trends across the U.S. Included in the report is data on where people are moving from when they relocate to Las Vegas.
The report included a top 10 list of states:
- California
- Arizona
- Texas
- Utah
- Washington
- Colorado
- Oregon
- Florida
- New Mexico
- Idaho
Of course, the top contender on the list is no surprise, since data from Nevada’s Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 158,000 Californians have moved to Las Vegas since 2020. The other states on the list, however, may offer a bit more surprising data on how people relocating to the Silver State.
It doesn’t appear that the trend of people coming to Las Vegas is going to slow down, either. Current trends suggest that the population of Las Vegas could hit 3 million within the next 20 years. Data also indicates that people who relocate to the city often stay for an extended period of time, which also drives up the population growth statistics.
