Some of the best sushi spots in the entire United States are in Las Vegas, according to a new report put out by Yelp.
Sushi represents one of the fastest growing dining categories across the U.S., according to restaurant review site Yelp. And just in time for diners to take part in the delicious culinary expansion, Yelp has come out with its list of the top 100 best sushi spots in the country.
The list is based on average Yelp reviews — including metrics like total volume of reviews and overall ratings — and includes everything from Hawaii-based food trucks to the best Japanese restaurants in Las Vegas.
Speaking of which, Las Vegas actually clocked 8 of the best sushi spots in the list, the most of any city in the country. Here are some of the contenders.
- Ari Sushi & Sake
- IT’s Izakaya
- Sushi Hiroyoshi Japanese Cuisine
- Taru
- Kame Omakase
- Toro Sushi
- Smile Shota
More than that, some of the restaurants actually landed really highly on the list. Ari Sushi & Sake, located at 7480 S. Rainbow Blvd, came in 6th among all of the best sushi spots. Reviewers praised the Las Vegas restaurant for its signature Ari Sashimi, as well as its top-quality fish and “romantic” ambiance.
If you’re curious about the top 5 sushi restaurants, one was in Hawaii, two were in California, one was in New York, and one was in Seattle.
