Set for Sunday, February 1, 2026, the invite-only showcase, hosted by Prep Baseball, will bring together the top high school players in the Class of 2026 from across North America. With more than 100 MLB scouts expected to be in attendance, the Super 60 has become a proving ground where future draft names begin to separate themselves on a national stage.

The numbers alone tell the story. As of early January, the 2026 Super 60 roster includes six players ranked in the national Top 50, 20 inside the Top 100, and talent representing 26 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces. In short, this is where the best of the best come to compete, and Nevada will be represented by two players ready to make noise.

Matthew Kelley (SS, Basic Academy / Texas A&M commit) enters the weekend as one of the most talented athletes in the event. Known as a true elite tool player, Kelley has already posted eye-popping numbers, including 96 mph infield velocity and 101 mph from the outfield, showcased this past summer at the Prep Baseball ProCase. A key piece in leading Basic Academy to a state championship, Kelley’s blend of arm strength, athleticism, and high-end upside has made him one of the most talked-about prospects in the state, and a player scouts will be circling closely.

Joining him is Chase Wilk (1B, University of Minnesota commit), the top-ranked first baseman in Nevada and one of the best in the nation at his position. Wilk is known for his soft hands and quick feet defensively, paired with legitimate power at the plate. That was put on display this past summer in Georgia in front of hundreds of college coaches at Prep Baseball’s Sr. Future Games. Not only did Chase have a loud BP session, but spraying the field with 5 home runs, and he hit the right center fence with a 97.7 mph missile, which turned into a two-run stand-up double in the game later that day. Some say he put a hole in the banner on the fence with that swing! His growing national profile continues to surge, most recently highlighted by being named the No. 1 most-viewed player profile in Nevada.

Chase claims the Prep Baseball organization & Prep Baseball Nevada, managed by Brett Harrison,n helped give him all the exposure he needed. Chase continued, “I’m very blessed I had guys like Brett & Shooter Hunt (VP of Scouting for Prep Baseball) in my corner guiding me through the Prep Baseball Showcases process.”  After this weekend in Chicago, that buzz is only expected to get louder.

As MLB scouts converge for the biggest preseason evaluation of the year, Kelley and Wilk won’t just be representing themselves; they’ll be carrying the flag for Nevada baseball on one of the sport’s biggest amateur stages. And when the dust settles in Chicago, don’t be surprised if both names are front and center in draft conversations nationwide.
