You Won’t Be Able to Eat Inside This Las Vegas Chick-Fil-A — Here’s Why
Fans of chicken sandwiches won’t be able to eat inside a new planned Las Vegas Chick-Fil-A restaurant — here’s why.
Specifically, the planned Las Vegas Chick-Fil-A is slated to occupy a piece of undeveloped land at the corner of Gillespie Street and St. Rose Parkway, according to local media outlet KJZZ Channel 14.
As far as why you won’t be able to eat inside the new restaurant, it’s because the specific location would be focused on drive-thru lanes with no indoor seating areas. For those on foot, document submitted to the Henderson city government indicated that there would be patio seats and a walk-up window for orders, as well as around 49 parking spots.
It’s worth noting, however, that the proposal for the new Chick-Fil-A in the Las Vegas area has yet to be approved by the Henderson City Council. That means the plans for the drive-thru-only restaurant could change before it’s opened.
More than that, there was no exact opening date mentioned in the documents. However, the plans do indicate that the restaurant would be open from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Chick-Fil-A and other restaurants, of course, are famously closed on Sundays.
Before you think this specific Las Vegas Chick-Fil-A is a trendsetter, the Atlanta-based restaurant chain actually opened a drive-thru-only outpost back in July 2023 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The planned restaurant could be approved as soon as Thursday, Feb. 22.
