SoCal Classic Norms Diner is Expanding to Las Vegas

Norms Diner, an iconic Southern California diner with a thoroughly retro style, is set to expand into the Las Vegas Valley with a 24-hour location.

Even if you don’t live in Los Angeles or Southern California, you may be familiar with Norms Diner. The iconic 1940s restaurant has been featured in a variety of media, from American Horror Story to Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

In November, Las Vegas will get the first Norms Diner outside of California. That’s a big deal for a 75-year-old restaurant franchise that first opened its doors in 1949, according to Eater.

The outpost will be located at 4605 West Charleston Boulevard. Although it’ll take the place of a former Applebee’s location, it’ll feature many of the classic Atomic Age design elements that make California-based Norms Diners so iconic.

On the menu, expect classic American breakfast and comfort foods, including country-fried steak, omelets, hotcakes with syrup, and biscuits and gravy. For lunch, you can find cheeseburgers and fries, onion rings, tuna melts, steak and shrimp, and more.

As you might expect, the Las Vegas location will be the first Norms Diner location with a liquor license. Eventually, it’ll also feature on-site gaming.

Eventually, the iconic vintage style might make the restaurant a popular spot for brunch in Las Vegas. The restaurant chain has some stiff competition, however, since Las Vegas recently ranked as the city with the best brunch in the entire U.S.
