Las Vegas Super Bowl Party to Take Place in Vacant Lot

A vacant lot on the Las Vegas Strip will soon be the site of a special Super Bowl party next month.
The Vegas Super Bowl party is currently slated for Feb. 8 through Feb. 11, and will take place at a lot that’s earmarked to be a Wynn Resorts property, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
More specifically, the event will be the Homecoming Series and Taco Bell Innovation Summit, which will feature a live performance or EJ each day, as well as an estimated 2,500 to 4,000 attendees each night.
This is not the first Homecoming summit that has happened. Each year, a California-based hospitality group named H.Wood hosts an event in the host city for the Super Bowl.
In the last couple of years, Drake has performed at the Homecoming events, which took place in Los Angeles and Phoenix. Taco Bell has also been a sponsor of the Homecoming event in past years.
Few other details about the Las Vegas Super Bowl party could be gleaned, since a spokesperson told the Review-Journal that details about performances or other plans would be forthcoming.
However, planning documents submitted to the Clark County government indicate that organizers would construct a 41,300-square-foot main tent and a 12,000-square-foot sponsor tent on the vacant lot.
The event is expected to be open to guests between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. on Feb. 8, Feb. 10, and Feb. 11. On Feb. 9, the event will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wynn Resorts bought the vacant lot back in 2017 for $336 million, and it plans to build a third hotel tower with an additional 2,000 to 3,000 rooms. Currently, however, the lot remains vacant, except for the planned Vegas Super Bowl Party.
